As we approach the summer months, many industry leading conferences are about to take place. While most event professionals won’t be able to attend every event, some of them should certainly move to the top of your list if you are considering making a journey to see the latest and greatest advances in the area of event-oriented technology. To help you narrow down which option may be right for you, here are a few taking place in the next few months that are definitely worth exploring.

Experiential Marketing Summit 2017

The Experiential Marketing Summit (EMS) is attended by over 2,000 marketing professionals interesting in furthering their knowledge in the area of experiential marketing. Conference goers get valuable information through a “flex learning” format that combines a range of traditional event elements like breakouts, workshops, keynote speakers, and interactive sessions. Instructors include marketing professionals from some of the country’s (and the world’s) leading companies, giving attendees a chance to learn from the best and brightest in their field.

One of the biggest draws of EMS is the Solutions Center, an area touted as being more than just an exhibit floor, but a place where businesses and individuals can connect to create new partnerships. Product demos are common, especially when it comes to technology-oriented providers. So, if you are looking for new technologies to up your marketing capabilities, EMS is a must-stop if you will be in the Chicago area this summer.

BizBash Live: The Expo 2017

Considered a premier trade show and conference for those working in the event industry, BizBash Live is a one-day event that provides attendees with access to a range of product and service providers, including those demonstrating some of the latest technological advances in their arena. Some of the technologies that will be on display include event bots, gif photo booths, and advancements in event décor. You can also explore new tools designed to further your efforts on social media or assist in other areas of your business.

BizBash Live has dates across the US including Fort Lauderdale, FL and Los Angeles, CA during the summer, and New York City in the fall, making it easy for event professionals from around the country to attend an event that is convenient for them.

IBTM America

A three-day event taking place in Fort Lauderdale, FL, IBTM America is regularly attended by event professionals interested in seeing new developments in the industry. For attendees specifically interested in technology, the Tech Collective section of the exhibits product and service providers operating on the cutting edge of their fields. Everything from large multi-national operations to small start-ups may be in attendance, letting you explore advances that are just gaining a foothold in the industry and explore the technologies of tomorrow.

The conference also features a range of networking opportunities outside of the exhibits, including breakfasts, breakout sessions, happy hours, and even a party. On Friday, the Event Tech Showdown takes place, allowing you to explore some of what the best and brightest have to offer and connect with those that are bringing change into the event space.

The Meetings Show

Being held in London, The Meetings Show focuses on the events industry and gives attendees access to over 700 exhibiting companies. It also includes more than 80 educational sessions for conference goers to enjoy across 10 dedicated content streams.

Currently, 15 individual meeting technology providers are expected to be in the exhibit hall during the event, allowing you to explore their offerings firsthand to see what their latest offerings can provide. Representatives from a range of venues will also be present, giving you a chance to see what a difference the right location can make when it comes to scheduling your next event.

Additionally, seven seminars are focused on technology and the events industry including discussions on current trends and innovations, how to manage event data, growth hacking, social media, and more.

IMEX Frankfurt

Over 3,500 exhibitors will be in attendance at IMEX Frankfurt this year, many of whom will be displaying technologies based on the latest trends and innovations in the field of events management. In fact, the event is considered to have the largest global array of meetings industry-related exhibitors under one roof! You can explore the IMEX Vision initiatives to see what is changing in the sector and learn more about emerging technologies through some of the more than 150 seminars and sessions available over the four-day event.
