The only online award competition for meeting and event professionals worldwide has started accepting submissions

Eventex Awards are launched for the first time on a global level and will be held exclusively online. This international award competition aims at recognizing the achievements of meeting and event professionals worldwide, as well as event destinations, venues and technologies.

The Eventex brand was started in 2009 as a series of events for event professionals. After succeeding in engaging the event industry on a local level, Eventex took the challenge to go international.

“We see a potential in Eventex Awards International for several reasons. First, it’s the only award competition for the meeting and event industry that covers the whole world and gives international recognition. Second, the decision-making process of the jury will be fully transparent, as entries and their assessments will be publicly announced. And finally, it’s an online award competition – easy to join and easy to follow on social media”, says Ovanes Ovanessian, CEO of Web and Events and organizer of Eventex Awards International.

All entries in the competition will be evaluated by an internationally renowned jury, featuring David Adler, CEO of BizBash News, Julius Solaris from Event Manager Blog, Corbin Ball and many others. Organizer of the event is Web and Events – the leading business events producer in Bulgaria. The company has a rich background in planning conferences and competitions featuring leading international speakers.

Entries can be submitted in 12 categories, including also “Destination of the Year”, “Venue of the Year”, “Event Technology” and “Event Producer of the Year”. Submissions are accepted until January 17, 2014 and the winners will be announced beginning of March 2014 on the official website of the event – http://eventexawards.com/2013/.
